Pioneer Valley FCU is excited to offer youth membership accounts. We believe in teaching our young people financial responsibility at an early age. The three levels of youth accounts are designed to teach children basic money management skills.
First Step Account (ages 0 to 2 years)- We will open a new savings account and make the first $25.00 deposit as our gift! Add your baby's picture to the "Young Members Wall of Fame" and announce your child in the quarterly newsletter. Baby's age must be less than 2 years old.
$uper $avers Club (ages 3 to 11 years)- Sign your child up for the Super Savers Club and they'll get their own personalized membership certificate, coin folder and many other fun gifts! As they add money, they'll get a reward for making a deposit.
Teen Savings Account (ages 12 to 17 years)- This account offers 12 thru 17 year olds, unique benefits that increase with their age. A teen can have a credit union account of his or her own, which includes a Youth ATM Card, Savings Account, $250 minimum on Certificates and access to VALLEOME Online Banking.
Open an account for $25.00 and bring one form of identification at the time of opening and we'll have your child on his or her way to a financially secure future.
UTMA Account Uniform Transfers to Minors Account (also known as custodial accounts) is established for a child who is still a minor. It allows you to give money to a minor but keeps you, the custodian, in control until the child reaches legal age. This account is a favorite of grandparents to save for their grandchildren's futures.
